We start by listening, then design a home that fits your site, your lifestyle, and your budget, and we carry that vision through to a buildable set of construction drawings.
Good design is more than drawings. We solve the real problems of how a home lives, from light and flow to energy performance, and we account for how it will actually be built. That is the difference between a set of drawings and a home that works.
Every client starts with the design. From there the choice is yours. Take the completed plans to the builder you prefer, and add construction support if you want us involved. Rob answers your builder's questions, clarifies details as they come up, and visits the site to review that what was designed on paper is being built as drawn.
When You Want Us Involved During Construction
Most clients start with the design and take it from there. Once your builder is hired, you can add construction support so the design is carried through on site.
We answer site questions, clarify drawing details, and visit the site to review the work, especially the air sealing, insulation, and window installation details that decide how a high performance home performs. Your builder handles the trades, schedule, and budget. You have the designer of your home available when questions come up.
Want more than a standard build? We can design to high performance and Certified Passive House standards for lower running costs and better comfort year round. That's an option layered on top, not a requirement, so the choice stays yours.
